Hi there! I just joined in April too and have been looking at other new writers' posts in "Noticing Newbies". The size of the site can be overwhelming. Maybe start with your bio, putting a few items in your portfolio, and joining some contests.

I first tried the "Daily Flash Fiction Challenge" and through reviews have connected with a few more writers.
