Tears.

Screaming the injustice,
torn from the warmth and safety.
Running a path of fire and ice,
leaping from points somewhere near insanity.

Kiss me away and find only more,
racing down a river bed so long dried.
Each obstacle no match for the torn,
pained and strained step to he end of the ride.
So another long day passes,
Light slipping away to dark.
The coals in the fire turn to ashes,
Pallet of stars black and stark.

Whispers on the wind singing,
Let this night be filled with love.
Mates intertwined shouting and sighing,
Two become one fitted like a glove.
As the light fades out of another dull, lifeless day. May I awake upon next birth with life, but this time let such dawning breath energy into my soul. Hope and yearning gather close once again. May it be finally fulfilled. Hold tight love, for my self is slipping to darkness. Send a thread some lifeline. Last chance, speak truth or gone evermore sound from these lips. Night, dreams plus sleep now take me.
May any and all who pass through my life remember one thing, me.
