I'm trying to get back into writing after having a crazy last few months. Does anyone want a review done? I'm willing to review anything right now just to get my writing mojo back. |
You are welcome to review anything in my portfolio. Reviewing is helpful in many ways, so be my guest. Start writing, anything, even A B C etc. A=apples glisten in the sun. B=butterflies brighten the sky. C=colorful blossoms decorate the garden. Let your imagine freely create no matte what shows up on the page or screen. Take what you can use now and save the rest for later. |
If you just want a read, my port is always open... |
I posted a new spicy short story if anyone is interested, but admittedly, I don't know the best way to use writing.com outside of reviews and groups. Is there another way I can engage with the other writers here besides message boards? I want to focus on the writing not conversations about writing. Thanks! |
Hi akaluv , Welcome to Writing.com. I have a few suggestions for you; First, by default, the Newsfeed opens to your Personal Newsfeed, which is limited to only those people you have fanned. If you look at the top of the Newsfeed, just below the share what's happening text box, you will see three choices, click on Community Newsfeed, this choice brings you all the posts on the Newsfeed. You will see more of what is going on on the site. The next best way to interact with members is by reviewing. You can ask for reviews here "Please Review" . Joining a Reviewing forum is also a great way to go, there are many on WdC. Contests are also a great way to get feedback; a quick glance at your portfolio makes me think this contest "Kit's Higher Ratings Contest" might be a good fit. You might want to check out "Newbie Welcome Kit" , which has some stuff I wish I knew about when I first joined. Last, about that fanned thing, if you look at any member's handle line, you see an image. their handle, a briefcase, a plus sign, and an envelope. Richard ~ Thankful!! If you click that plus sign twice, you have fanned that member, and you will always see their posts. The briefcase takes you to their portfolio, and the envelope opens an email window to them. |
