Evolution of Love Part 2 |
Most of you have come here to hear me talk, and I say to you that sitting in the silence is more potent than any words you can ever hear. If you came just to hear me talk you're going to be disappointed, for I am not a public speaker, I am not a lecturer and I really have nothing to say. But yet most of you function by listening to people talk. Think back in retrospect. How many teachers have you heard during your life? Literally hundreds. How many books have you read, and where are you? Here! If the talks and the books did you any good you wouldn't be here at all. You are here because you're still seeking and you’re still searching, you're trying to find something external to yourself and you cannot do that. What you're looking for, you already are. There is nowhere to go and there’s nothing to do. Everything already is. There is no one that can change it for you. When you sit in the silence you have to deal with your own thoughts. Most people do not like to do this, so they want to hear me talk. When they're finished here they go home and watch the TV to hear someone else talk. Then they talk to their families, they go to a movie and there's nothing but talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. It gets you nowhere. Many of you do not like to sit in the silence for your mind attacks you. It brings up all sorts of things about the past and worries about the future. So you want to be entertained. You want to hear good words, profound knowledge. There is no profound knowledge. There are no good words. Everything you've been told is a lie. The only truth that exists is your self, but who is the self? The self is you, just the way you are. The mistake most people make is they want to change themselves. How can you change yourself? You think you've got problems, or you think you've got a bad mind, or you think something is wrong and you want to change that. Those things don't exist. There is nothing to change. That's what I mean when I say, "Be yourself, just the way you are." Yourself, just the way you are, spontaneous, lives in the now, has no time to worry or think. When you are yourself you are God, you are consciousness, you are absolute reality. You are always yourself. You never were anyone else. You never were anything else. Your nature is divine. You are not what you appear to be. The only thing you have to remove is the appearance, or the belief in the appearance, for the appearance is false. Most of you still believe you are the body-mind phenomenon. No matter how many times I tell you you are not the body-mind, you still keep identifying with the body and mind. That's false. That doesn't exist. But what is this body all about? If you look at your body with an electronic microscope you will see trillions, and trillions and trillions of atoms. What is an atom? Science tells us that an atom has a proton, which is the center, and electrons swirling all around the proton. Your body appears to be made of trillions, and trillions and trillions of atoms, which means it is always in a state of flux. You are not as solid as you believe. Nothing in the world is solid. Now the amazing thing about all this is you are the microcosm in the macrocosm which means you are a small universe in a larger universe. If you look at the universe it’s composed of galaxies and solar systems. In each galaxy there are trillions and trillions of solar systems. What is a solar system? It is a sun with planets revolving around it. Isn't that just like the atom? That's why in the scriptures it tells you, "We live in the body of God," for the whole universe appears to be some pulsating being. It pulsates. It breathes. Can you imagine that? The universe actually breathes just like you breathe. You are a replica of the universe. If you found yourself the size of an atom in your body, you would be in a universe. You would look up and you would see suns, stars, planets, but they are all taking place in your body. It's mind boggling. So you are not what you appear to be. Therefore when I say you are not the body it is not only spiritual, it's scientific. There are spaces between the atoms just as there are spaces between the atoms that you see up in the sky, the planets. The space between the molecules, and the atoms and the electrons is what we call space. That's what we see with our eyes, space, but is it really space? Sages tell us it's actually consciousness. What is consciousness? Something that is conscious. What this means is there is a life force which is the substratum of all existence. What is that life force? What is the cause of creation? What is at the bottom of all of this? The answer, my dear friends, is you. You are the cause of all creation, and you don't exist as you. Therefore creation as it appears to be also does not exist. In other words, creation only exists because you exist. When you go to sleep at night what happens to creation? It no longer exists for you. I know you can say, "Well I know it's there anyway." No you don't. Who knows? You're in a state of deep sleep. As far as you're concerned, you're dead. That's how it is when it comes time to leave your body. You become consciousness itself. The difference between sleeping and being realized is that when you're asleep you're realized, but you're not conscious of it. When you are realized, you are conscious of the whole game. So you see, when you really see what you're made of, atoms, trillions and trillions of atoms, you are not who you think you are. You've been fooled. Awaken! |
*Prize winning message of the year-*😄😜😉. A guy asked a girl in a library, “Do you mind if I sit beside you?” The girl answered with a loud voice, "I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH YOUUU!!!!!” All of the students in library started staring at the guy. He was very embarrassed....... After a couple of minutes, the girl walked quietly to the guy’s table and told him, “I study psychology and I know what a man is thinking. Let me guess, you were embarrassed, huh?” The guy responded with a loud voice, “200 DOLLARS FOR ONE NIGHT?!?!?! THAT’S TOO MUCH!!!” …and all the people in the library looked at the girl in shock...... The guy leaned over and whispered, "I study Law, and I know how to screw people.........." Don't Laugh alone ... 😂😂😂😂😂😝😜😝 |
A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges to take bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples smiled 'n asked. 'Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?' Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout.' 'But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.' asked the saint Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples. Finally the saint explained, . 'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance. What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small...' The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper 'n they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other 'n that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.' He looked at his disciples and said. 'So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.' |
Happiness is the Eternal Oneness. It is only when you are dreaming that you see the "many". Therefore, wake up and roar. When you sleep you are all alone, and while you're asleep you dream of mountains, rivers, forests, friends, animals and a world full of people. But is the dream real? Let me tell you another story. One night, a man goes to sleep and dreams that he gets married and has many children together with his wife. Then one day, a flood comes and all of his children are lost in the flood. His wife too, get washed away with the flood. The man is now suffering. He is crying, "Where is my wife? Where are my children?" Meanwhile, a tiger comes toward him, and he instantly wakes up. After waking, he fells so happy. Even though in his dream his wife and children have died, on waking he knows that it is all unreal. Even the suffering was unreal. So now let the tiger appear to tell you, "Wake up, this is a dream." |
That is what Someone's call the Unfading; it is not gross, not fine, not short, not long, not shadow, not darkness, not wind, not color, not ether, not fluid, not clinging, without taste, without smell, without eye, without ear, without speech, without mind, without vital force, without breath, without mouth, without measure, without aught inward, without aught outward; it consumes nothing, none consumes it. At the behest of the Unfading, sun and moon are held asunder; at the behest of the Unfading, heaven and earth are held asunder; at the behest of the Unfading, minutes, hours, days and nights, fortnights, months, seasons, and years are held asunder; at the behest of the Unfading, flow the rivers, some eastward from the white mountains, some westward, each in its own way" |
You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me. Remove ads on lonerwolf? And that’s when you met me. “What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?” “You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words. “There was a… a truck and it was skidding…” “Yup,” I said. “I… I died?” “Yup. But don’t feel bad about it. Everyone dies,” I said. You looked around. There was nothingness. Just you and me. “What is this place?” You asked. “Is this the afterlife?” “More or less,” I said. “Are you god?” You asked. “Yup,” I replied. “I’m God.” “My kids… my wife,” you said. “What about them?” “Will they be all right?” “That’s what I like to see,” I said. “You just died and your main concern is for your family. That’s good stuff right there.” You looked at me with fascination. To you, I didn’t look like God. I just looked like some man. Or possibly a woman. Some vague authority figure, maybe. More of a grammar school teacher than the almighty. “Don’t worry,” I said. “They’ll be fine. Your kids will remember you as perfect in every way. They didn’t have time to grow contempt for you. Your wife will cry on the outside, but will be secretly relieved. To be fair, your marriage was falling apart. If it’s any consolation, she’ll feel very guilty for feeling relieved.” “Oh,” you said. “So what happens now? Do I go to heaven or hell or something?” “Neither,” I said. “You’ll be reincarnated.” “Ah,” you said. “So the Hindus were right,” “All religions are right in their own way,” I said. “Walk with me.” You followed along as we strode through the void. “Where are we going?” “Nowhere in particular,” I said. “It’s just nice to walk while we talk.” “So what’s the point, then?” You asked. “When I get reborn, I’ll just be a blank slate, right? A baby. So all my experiences and everything I did in this life won’t matter.” “Not so!” I said. “You have within you all the knowledge and experiences of all your past lives. You just don’t remember them right now.” I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it’s hot or cold. You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had. “You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If we hung out here for long enough, you’d start remembering everything. But there’s no point to doing that between each life.” “How many times have I been reincarnated, then?” “Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.” “Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?” “Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.” “Where you come from?” You said. “Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.” “Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.” “Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.” “So what’s the point of it all?” “Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?” “Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted. I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.” “You mean mankind? You want us to mature?” “No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.” “Just me? What about everyone else?” “There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.” You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…” “All you. Different incarnations of you.” “Wait. I’m everyone!?” “Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back. “I’m every human being who ever lived?” “Or who will ever live, yes.” “I’m Abraham Lincoln?” “And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added. “I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled. “And you’re the millions he killed.” “I’m Jesus?” “And you’re everyone who followed him.” You fell silent. “Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.” You thought for a long time. “Why?” You asked me. “Why do all this?” “Because someday, you will become like me. Because that’s what you are. You’re one of my kind. You’re my child.” “Whoa,” you said, incredulous. “You mean I’m a god?” “No. Not yet. You’re a fetus. You’re still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.” “So the whole universe,” you said, “it’s just…” “An egg.” I answered. “Now it’s time for you to move on to your next life. |
Space is divided into two parts or aspects. On one side of space is creation. On the other side is God alone; creation is completely absent. That is the world of the "darkless dark" and the "Lightless light." In the Gita the Lord says: "Where no sun or moon or fire shines, that is my Supreme Abode...." (Bhagavad Gita XV:6) The same duality is true of human consciousness. Your being has two sides -- one visible, the other invisible. With open eyes you behold objective creation, and yourself in it. With closed eyes you see nothing, a dark void; yet your consciousness, even dissociated from form, is still keenly aware and operative. If in deep meditation you penetrate the darkness behind closed eyes, you behold the Light from which all creation emerges. By deeper samadhi, your experience transcends even the manifested Light and enters the All-Blissful-Consciousness --- beyond all form, yet infinitely more real, tangible and joyous than any sensory or supersensory perception. God has given you the opportunity to observe in your own consciousness the operation of the same laws that govern the universe. The state of consciousness without form that is experienced with closed eyes may be compared to the endless region of "darkless dark" and "lightless light," where God exists without any of the forms, qualities and dualities that characterize the sphere of His material creation. In this boundless stretch of eternity behind creation, God alone lives in the unqualified consciousness of ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Bliss. No world or any other created thing exists in His consciousness in that part of infinity where He reigns as the Absolute. But on the other side of space He is aware of everything---all creation---in Himself |
Worldly attachments are attributed by visits of the mind to the same objects of desire, again, and again. This happens due to a lack of awareness and wholesome experience of the objects or events. Through intense living one can get a full understanding of the events and become a witness of it and then become free from the outcome of the event, whether positive or negative. For example, the innocence of a child makes him so inquisitive that he tries to understand the inside of a toy, as to what makes it work, he breaks it, with intense involvement of both body and mind. Finally, he loses interest in the toy, finding nothing interesting inside, and moves areas to another toy. This is exactly the behaviour of the human mind, curiosity persists till the mind becomes fully aware of the event or object. Awareness leads to decrease in thoughts for the object, and subsequently total detachment from it. Today, if we want to live a blissful life we have to practice the art of living intensely. |
There was a bird who lived in a desert, very sick, no feathers, nothing to eat and drink, no shelter to live in. One day a dove was passing by, so the sick unhappy bird stopped the dove and inquired "where are you going?" it replied " I am going to heaven". So the sick bird said "please find out for me, when my suffering will come to an end?" The dove said, "sure, I will." and bid a good bye to the sick bird. The dove reached heaven and shared the message of the sick bird with the angel incharge at the entrance gate. The angel said, "For the next seven years of its life the bird has to suffer like this, no happiness till then." The dove said, "When the sick bird hears this he will get disheartened. could you suggest any solution for this." The Angel replied, "Tell him to recite this verse *"Thank you God for everything."* The dove on meeting the sick bird again, delivered the message of the angel to it . After seven days the dove was again passing by and saw that bird was very happy, feathers grew on his body, a small plant grew up in the desert area, a small pond of water was also there, the bird was singing and dancing cheerfully. The dove was astonished. The Angel had said that there would be no happiness for the bird for the next seven years. With this question in mind the dove went to visit the angel at heaven's gate. The dove put forth his query to the Angel. The Angel replied, "yes it is true there was no happiness for the bird for seven years but because the bird was reciting the verse *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* in every situation, his life changed. When the bird fell down on the hot sand it said *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* When it could not fly it said, *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* When it was thirsty and there was no water around, it said, *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* Whatever the situation, the bird kept on repeating, *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* and therefore the seven years got dissolved in seven days. _When I heard this story, I felt a tremendous shift in my way of feeling, thinking, accepting and viewing life._ I adopted this verse in my life. WHATEVER the situation I faced I started reciting this verse *"THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING".* It helped me to shift my view from what i did not have to what i have in my life. For instance; if my head aches I THANK GOD that the rest of my body is completely fine and healthy and I notice that the headache does not bother me at all. In the same manner i started using this verse in my relationships (whether family, friends, neighbours, colleagues ) finances, social life, business and everything with which I can relate. I shared this story with everyone I came in touch with and it brought a great shift in their behaviour too. This simple verse really had a deep impact on my life, i started feeling how blessed I am, how happy I am, how good life is. The purpose of sharing this message is to make all of us aware of how powerful the *“ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE”* is. It can reshape our lives...!!! Lets recite this verse continuously to experience the shift in our life. So be grateful, and see the change in your attitude. _*Be humble, and you will never stumble.*_ *- REMEMBER! "THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING"* |
