Very well said, Sue. I agree with life is satisfying once we stop focusing on other's happiness and instead of focusing on ourselves. It was a difficult lesson but one that changed my life.
Oh Wow! I wasn't expecting you to put God as our business partner at the end. I was too busy getting mad at the man in the story who kept the 100%.
Great story plot, btw. You certainly zeroed in on the man's ingratitude effectively. I guess, we all experience a bit of that ingratitude at one time or another in our lives. A big Ooops!
What advice would you give to someone who has not experienced this radical shift?
Live life to the full. Live each moment as it arises, each desire, each impulse as it arises. Not what you think you should do, but simply what arises, what is there in the moment, now.
Do you have a goal in life? Does life have any meaning for you?
A goal? No. Meaning? None, other than to experience the powerful intensity of every moment.
Don’t you feel rather alone?
No, never. I am always experiencing something. I am never alone in this space.
And I guess you are never anxious.
Even the anxiety is in the background.
Do you feel empathy towards other people? Those around you?
Yes, I feel connected, for all this ‘I am’, all this manifestation is within me. Others don’t exist as ‘other’ but everything is part of this ‘I am’ that appears and disappears from one moment to the next within this thing.
