With luggage on the rack

The signal's down, quick!

Drop off, or pick!

What do the wheels say
As they take you on your way?

Listen to them sing
what message do they bring?

Are you going to, or from?
Heart calm, or like a storm?

The wheels just echo
The rhythm in you, you know.

Clickety-clack happy if you're glad
Clackety-click morose, if you're sad

The wheels speak in code
Running along with their load

But for each passenger
Its meaning does differ

Because, right from the start
It echoes the beat of each heart.
