Unfortunately, my previous blog failed to save. So here I am. lol. I had two job calls this morning. It was like 7 am and I kept hearing texts and emails as I laid on my bed. I did look at one and then I ignored the rest. Finally, I got my first call. I was speaking to a chick named Windy. Everything was nice and fine until she told me it was remote but it did require long distance out-of-state travel. Because of that, I told her I could not fill the position and that was that. Lol. My next job call came about five minutes later from a company called Trans America-a financial company. I did not remember scheduling the call. Like the previous job call, I am required to have a license. And, like all the jobs I have connected with, they pay by direct deposit-something that involves giving sensitive bank information. My mom and my stepdad strongly cautioned me not to do that. But, to be honest, concerning the job issue, I have surrendered it to the Lord-only if it’s God’s will and that it glorifies Him. Ultimately, I want my priorities to align with God’s. Nevertheless, if I did get a job, I would the money to help others. Frankly there is nothing I want now. My goal is to invest in the kingdom of God. I’ve always been a saver. I’ve been practicing my typing lately. It is quite fun in fact. The trick is to gradually increase in speed. But I think that steadiness is key. And I find that blog writing is much easier than fiction writing. Lol. On the matter of the upcoming election, I do think Trump will win. My family has been praying three times-one at 9 am, one 12 pm and one at 3 pm. I came across a Forbs news video of Trump being prayed over at a Hispanic event. It was refreshing to see and hear. One of the pastors pointed out that this election is not Republicans vs. Democrats Republicans, but it is a dire battle of good against evil. But regardless of who wins, God is in control! A lot of people are scared about what will go down on November 5th on both sides on the isle. But I am kept at peace by God’s Spirit. Well, that’s it for now. See you tomorrow! |
