You're right about kids and food. One birthday meal I had was so big, I couldn't quite finish it. My dad was very understanding and complimented me on how much of the huge plateful of food I'd managed to eat. It took about 30 minutes for the rest of the family to eat what they could, box up the rest and get back to the house... at which point I ate a fairly large bowl of cereal. Dad was a bit less understanding about that.

When was the last time you were at Disneyland? I bet it's changed a lot since it opened in 1955! Or even since your engagement visit in 1971! We live nearby and visit a few times a year, and it seems like they're always improving, modifying, or replacing something!

We're getting a new Universal theme park here in the UK. It's in a county that has very little else of interest - hoping it will provide these kind of magical experiences for the next generation!

Praying 🙏 I feel for you! I have Medi-Cal and I keep getting the runaround from doctors and my health jnsurance being stingy. I would be interested in whether or not things work out this time, if you do not mind. I am a Sister in Christ, and a prayer warrior! I will do my best to be here as much as I can be.

As you warm up we cool down. Temps are certainly warming here. As to the reasons that is still out there.
Hope you get your medical stuff sorted OK. You certainly don't need stress of unexpected bills!!

Ah, Spring. It always seems to keep us guessing then pops out. I don't think it likes Summer which is why it disappears so quickly.

Good that you have copies and can document all your interactions with the medical payment paperwork. If collection ever contacts you, you can give them the details as well. They don't like being stuck in the middle either but usually will double-check before bothering you further.

I've been doing Bible reading plans for the past few years and have really appreciated the additional insight and context they can provide. Especially for those parts of the Bible that can feel very dense or hard to understand!

I've always wanted to do a Bible study, but I don't have a lot of spare time in my schedule. I guess that's why I like Lent and Easter, because I get the Ken Utner "Lil" books (one is black and one is white) and they have a nice 5 min message that I can read and then just let the message sink in through the day.

Thinking About The Day

It's a cool day today, so far the temp has only reached 59° and the wind is blowing at 16mph. I did my morning walk, but felt somewhat tired so, I stopped at 1.56 miles which doesn't equate to that many steps. I may not make my goal of 10,000 steps minimum. Oh well I'll have to get over it!

I've done a couple of reviews this morning, and one was a second attempt to get it right. I came on a little strong with my first review (which I erased) and redid it. I noticed that the person did go back in and update some of her work, so it was easier to read. My second attempt I believe was better worded hoping to instill the want for her to keep writing.

One never knows what you'll get when you hit the Read & Review and that's a good thing. I believe all genres are covered so it gives you the chance to review a plethora of different types of writings.
