I do not really know what a blog is - so I am just going to write down and share with you thoughts that I have, often in the early hours, when I reflect on life, the universe and everything.
Well, on the flip side, as a review I feel really funny singling out the things (like this blog) that are auto-reward. I always work harder on these reviews, because I really want to deserve the GPs. Sometimes I'll even print out the item and go over it with colored pencils to be sure I give the most I can. I think people with sense know the system of auto-reward works. It's interesting, though, that you get more reviews than you can respond to. Oh, to have that problem!
You go girl! I can't hear you right now,my sis is sleeping! I am very interested in hearing you! I hope maybe tomarrow. You see I'm having a yard sale & on monday, riding from South Carolina, To Eugene,Oregon! 3 days on bus, over 3,000 miles! I'm getting back into my music. Oh I'm 52! anyway, you have a lot of things in your port, that I can relate with! I worked in Nursing homes, as a CNA & know about the abuse here in the states. It's such a crime & heartbreaking too. Time was people revered their elders & now, Oye it's a shame the way, those souls are treated.
About the rating, I wouldn't give it much thought! Everyone has an opinion! I respect, that you are doing something with your music! I think that's so cooool, you can do the audio thing, perhaps I could learn, from you? People should just do it-like Nike! I put you in favs I will be back! please write & sing ON & ON! Peace-Dara (BIG SMILE!) SO NICE TO MEET YOU!
It's incredibly bold of you to share audio files along with your songs. Everyon expects a professional level recording but discounts the kind of work that it takes to produce even the most basic track. Keep going, even if the reviews do get a little rough. Nothing can tell you want a songwriter was hearing when he or she wrote the song like an actual recording.
Bless your heart. I'm glad you've been able to start sharing audio files. It helps get to know you better, when we can hear how the words were born in your mind and heart.
I also appriciate your courage. I am an aspiring author and like you, I often feel that it is a mistake, but I keep trying and you should too! If somebody gave you a 1.5 as a rating then you should simply (to yourself, of course) question THEIR sanity and whether they really did read your song at all!!! Keep it up!
I myself have three boys and one little girl. I know how you feel. At this time, my oldest boy is 11 years old and everyday he tells ways he will take care of husband and I when we get to that ripe old age of we can not do nothing for ourselves. I think of the time that I was fighting his real dad for him and his brother. I did not marry that man, but he did not deserve the kindness that I gave him. I have lost one child, but it was just a month old still in the belly. I feel your pain, but I will not know what it feels to have one child live and another die being twins. so sad and so strange at the same time. I hope your son knows that you love him for him only and does not think you blame him for the loss of the other. thank you for sharing this. Happy brithday to him too and many more to come.
I liked the way you took a tragey and turned it into a sandwich. hahahahaha The luck has shined on you and I hope you stay well. I am going in this blog from recent to the past, so if I repeat stay well, then you will know why. I have a husband and we have what you and yours have. The long lasting and never ending. There is so much tragey happening in the world, it helps to have a husband or wife to help you get through it all. My mother in law just finally learned that with her third husband. For her, third time was the charm. I am with you with being with my first, but we did not get married until I was 25 years old. In the year 2000. I hope for all the happeness you can hold in your heart for you and yours.
Ann, I am happy that you autoreward. It will help me and others alonge the way. I hope to be like you when I am your age. Writing, Reading, and Singing my heart out. You inspire the younger ones to have as much spunk as you do at your age. I have a mother that is 55 and having trouble with sewing and here you are writing and singing until you can not anymore. I hope you make it into 100's so that I can keep reading and listening to you and your work. I hope you get a recording contract for your songs and you have all your dreams come true, because you put your heart into what you do and there is not alot of people that can do what you do.
I liked this entry that you left. I am happy that you decided to put your heart out on the line and sing the song, you could not mess it up if you tried. You are the song.
