I wrote my first book when I was eight- I've still got it- a history of aviation. I did the drawings too. Since then I've written stories, a film script ( never made but I'm open to offers) and poetry. I like poetry because, like sfruitcake, it concentrates all sorts of goodies in a small space. I have this feeling that poetry isn't actually written, it's solved. Writing a poem is like doing a crossword puzzle- except that you have to write the clues as well. |
I'm a poet, first and foremost, and I write about everything that I find quirky, odd, moving or funny. |
I hope my style is clear, concise and effective. In writing poetry I'm a firm believer that less is more. |
