About Me
I'm a 15 year old high school girl living in the suburbs. I'm thinking about going into journalism when I get older, and although I don't have a lot of time to write for myself, I've got a lot of random little poems and stories it would be nice to get feedback on. I really just love reading and writing of all sorts, which is why I think jounalism is one of the only jobs I could be happy with. I used to be very shy and quiet, but now I'm growing up and have made some good, close friends.
Type of Writer
My favorite type of writing will always be fiction-realistic, scientific, and fantasy. I also love poetry.
Writing Style
I like to write emotionally and very descriptively. I'm not one for short and sweet-if there's a limit, I'm over it.
Interests
I love reading, running, and music. I also enjoy watching movies. I play the violin and am teaching myself piano and guitar. I also love my dog; she is my best friend, lame as that sounds. She's the only one that's always there for me.
Favorite Genres
Fiction! Specifically, fantasy, science, and realistic.
Favorite Books
The Harry Potter series will forever be at the top of my list. I'm completely obsessed, and I love it. I've probably read the books over 10 times each, and I've got a Harry Potter reference for everything. My dream is to go to Hogwarts.
Favorite Authors
J.K Rowling, of course. She writes beautifully, and the complexity of the HP plot is amazing. I also love Michael Crighton and Orson Scott Card.
Favorite Poets
TS Eliot! His poem 'The Hollow Men' gives me shivers.
Favorite Quote
"Regret for things we have done can be tempered by time; it is regret for what we have not done that is inconsolable."
Favorite Music
Ed Sheeran, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Reba, Shostakovich.
Favorite Movies
Music and Lyrics, Starstruck, Coraline.
