I have been in and out of writing for as long as I can remember. It seems that I tend toward the dramatic when I write and when the mood strikes, I write short stories complete in one sitting. The trouble is, that the mood last struck in 2006... |
I am definitely a casual writer. Being published seems like a very far off dream. |
I am mostly interested in World War Two history and the tragedy of the Holocaust. I am a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan, so 2009 - 2010 was fantastic! Sadly, I am a Chicago Cubs fan too... |
World War Two, Historical Non-Fiction |
"The Pianist" - Wladyslaw Szpilman; "Behind Enemy Lines" - Marthe Cohn; "Night" - Elie Wiesel; "Commandant of Auschwitz" - Rudolf Hoess; "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" - Mitch Albom; "To Kill a Mockingbird" - Harper Lee. |
I probably like alternative music, tending towards Metal (System of a Down, Tool, etc.). I also like some classic rock (The Beatles, Rush, and Pink Floyd). My current (September 2010) favorite song is "Odd One" by the Sick Puppies. |
"Schindler's List"; "The Pianist"; "American Beauty"; "The Godfather Part 1"; "The Godfather Part 2"; "Mean Girls"; "Kingpin"; "Shallow Hal"; "Stand By Me"; "Ordinary People"; "It's a Wonderful Life". |
