I'm a 25-year-old active duty member of the United States Air Force. I've been writing since I was 13, starting with an online forum that I resided on for a decade and eventually even moderated; then I had a few other stints on various forums before finally branching out into the solo work I've always wanted to get around to. I've done a great deal of growing over the course of my "literary career" and hope to continue improving. |
I love writing fantasy fiction, and I have plans to branch out into modern fiction once I finish my current project |
I'm a big fan of description, enhancing prose/flow with effective punctuation, and a firm believer that characters drive plot |
Writing, obviously, is my favorite hobby, though I also enjoy mixed martial arts-- spectating and participating-- and, of course, video games. For the last, older rpg's/strategy rpg's such as the older Final Fantasy Series are particular favorites |
Fantasy Fiction (If I wanted complete realism, I'd just go outside :P ) |
1.The Wheel of Time series 2.Elantris. I plan on adding to this list one day, but those are the only ones I've actively read as an adult. I spent most of my free time writing on forums when I was younger; now, I use it for school and solo works |
1.Robert Jordan 2.Brandon Sanderson (I'm a VERY picky reader, so those are the only two I've really gotten into since coming into my literary "maturity"; however, there were plenty of great writers I was involved with back in my forum days) |
I'm not exactly a fan of poetry. There are the rare few that I've enjoyed, but by various authors and too few to say that I have a favorite poet |
1. Chevelle 2. Slipknot 3. Red Hot Chili Peppers 4. Rise Against 5. Brand New. To be honest, I listen to a very wide variety of music, but as far as what bands hold more spaces on my Ipod, those would be them |
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2. V for Vendetta 3. Fight Club 4. Requiem for a Dream 5. Inception 6. The Fighter 7. 300 8. The Watchmen |
1. That 70's Show 2. The Big Bang Theory 3. Heroes (season one, anyway) 4. Game of Thrones (aren't we all?) |
