Getting back into fiction writing after a rather long hiatus when I discovered that writing fanfiction (or even grammatically correct short fiction) does not pay your car bills, but online blogging does. I even have health insurance now, which is nice. Definitely need some kicks up the ass to continue, so PLEASE let me know if you want to keep reading a work of mine, otherwise I'll get discouraged on that piece and move onto something else. Not mature, I know, but at least I'm admitting it. |
Professionally, I'm a blogger of sorts. Privately, I'm a fiction writer, primarily of fantasy long and short forms. |
Conversational, with a flair for minor details that bring scenes to life (I like to think). Dialogue's not bad either. |
Reading a lot of audiobooks lately. ("Trickster's Choice" by Tamora Pierce had a great narrator!) I also game a lot--Hearthstone, anyone?--and garden, cook, and walk my beagle with my wonderful fiance. |

Currently listening to: "Trickster's Queen" by Tamora Pierce. I've read the book before, but the narrator they got for this duet is fantastic! Currently reading: "The Science of Marketing" by Dan Zarrella |
Neil Gaiman, Terry Prachett, Garth Nix, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCafferey, dude who wrote "Dune" who I'm too lazy to look up right now... |
