This blog contains only items derived from specific prompts. I'm too stubborn to take the time to post the prompt that the entry is based on. So if you don't understand whats going on - well, I dunno - I guess that just means you don't understand.

I would also like to invite you to take a look at my other blog:

Book Finished: The Martian by Andy Weir.

Not sure whether to title this Yesterday or Today!? When will I ever get caught up? Wondering what to call my blog tomorrow. If I write it early in the day I would be tempted to call it Yesterday. Guess I should write it in the evening and make sure I'm not thinking about the next day. Hey yeah I could write my Blog just before midnight and title it Tomorrow. And sometimes I could call it 'The Following Day' if I was feeling real creative!

When I'm reading a book or a story or a poem, I'm seldom interested in asking the author what they're trying to say, even if I could. I'm a lot more interested in what I hear.

Thank you WDC. When I got up this morning I was informed that I forgot to write my blog yesterday. I didn't realize you would miss it so much. I guess I forgot because I didn't finish a book yesterday, reading one I mean. So that's why the title of this is Yesterday.

I have been rereading 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra'. Nietzsche is still an idiot. Although I guess his misogyny can be blamed on his Syphilitic Brain Damage! Here is part of my conversation with Zarathustra.

Oh great Zarathustra! I look up to thee as though thou wert a god!
But you are not a god. I look up to thee because you are standing at a point above my head.
If thou wert at a point below me, perhaps I would see thee as a devil.
No, oh Zarathustra! That is the point! The point at which thee standeth makes not a difference!
Thou believest that thee standeth above man!
That thou can look down on man as a superman from above.
As if Zarathustra were a superman.
Oh Zarathustra thou point of view is downward!
Turn thine eyes upward!
Oh Zarathustra! Witness The Superwoman above you!

Book I finished today: In Paradise by Peter Matthiessen

The only difference between creation and discovery are the words.

Time is a relationship between space and itself. Space is a relationship between time and itself. What are the selves?

Book I finished today: Noble House by James Clavell

Now I wonder what kinda stuff I should put in here.

I guess all that meaningless stuff I keep jotting down.

Creativity is the ability to perceive a portion of reality which others have never perceived .......Artistry is the ability to force the creation into the consciousness of others.

Often I must purposely do things imperfectly so I am forced to fix them or to accept them the way they are.

If you try to follow anything to its root or to its pinnacle it will disappear. If it does not disappear, you have not gone far enough!

I can give you the words, but you must create the idea.

And now I leave you for today. *Bigsmile*

Books finished today: California, by Edan Lepucki

I am merely an observer. I observe myself.

Nonsense rhymes are very good.

Zarathustra! You do not have to wait for greatness!
As you know, everything is, was, and always shall be!
However, REMEMBER!
You will always be a dwarf!
Thus Spoke Me
