Summary of this Book...
Addie La Rue has a problem. A big one. She's immortal. That doesn't sound like much of a problem, except she came by this immortality by making a deal with a god of the Dark, who keeps pestering her (pretty much throughout history) to give up her soul. Also not so much of a problem until you add in the fact that no one remembers her as soon as they leave sight of her. Yeah, that Could be a problem. Plus the whole pestering thing. To an immortal that could be a problem that lasts...forever.
This type of Book is good for...
Readers who enjoy fantasy and romantasy stories.
I especially liked...
It's essentially a love story. If I were to give the review a title, it would be "Dark Overlords Need Love Too."
I didn't like...
It was repetitive, which made the book overly long (for me, anyway).
This Book made me feel...
Like this was an interesting story. Not new, by any means. The romantasy aspect? Also not new. But there are a million ways to be loved. This book draws on one of those ideas.
I recommend this Book because...
There are some clever twists to the story and some interesting parts that kept me reading. There's also some good use of prose.

Here's an example: "She has kissed a lot of people. But none of them will ever kiss like him. The difference doesn't lie in the technicalities. His mouth is no better shaped to the task. It is just in the way he uses it.

It is the difference between tasting a peach out of season and that first bite into sun-ripened fruit.

The difference between seeing only in black-and-white, and a life in full-color film."
I don't recommend this Book because...
I'm mixed on recommending it, only because the repetition got to me eventually. I get that the author was trying to complete the picture, but it got old.
