Summary of this Book...
The plot twists and turns as the story is told about characters who seem to be suspects. Roger Ackroyd is dead, the clues are considered and the killer can be anyone who was in the Ackroyd home or perhaps someone else according to evidence pointing in a particular direction, but Poirot digs deep and follows the trail until he discovers who the murder actually did the deed.

Who, what, when, where, and why are answered keeping the reader focused on the story. Other incidents raise questions and answers come intertwined with the Ackroyd investigation. It seems everyone had something to hide. Suicide, murder, and lies mix together to tell a tale of mystery and suspense that is a thrilling journey through an investigation that has many aspects.

The end of the story is amazingly intriguing.
This type of Book is good for...
Readers who enjoy mysteries, puzzles to solve, interesting characters who have something to hide and go to great lengths to protect their secrets, and want to be thrilled and surprised along the way to discovering who did it.
I especially liked...
I liked the way the clues were used to challenge the reader to try to figure out who done it. I also enjoyed the various personalities of the characters.
I didn't like...
I had to concentrate to keep the characters, events, and clues in my mind so I could follow the story, but this may have been because of the recording quality and the reader.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
I want to read more of the authors books eventually.
This Book made me feel...
I felt like I was in the story, got to know the characters, was able to follow Poirot as he investigated, and was satisfied when I read the last word of the story.
The n/a of this Book...
The writing style of this book helped me see in my imagination the scenes, characters, and the action.
I recommend this Book because...
This book is an exciting adventure into the dark side of humanity that has a decent out come because the killer is discovered.
I don't recommend this Book because...
I enjoyed this book very much, but keeping everything straight is a challenge. It is however worth focusing on the details. If a reader wants to relax and enjoy a feel good story another book would be a better choice.
Further Comments...
I intend to read this book again eventually because the details are worth revisiting, I like the characters, and the second time through the story should give me a better more vivid view of what happened. Sometimes revisiting a story for me makes it more real.
