Summary of this Book...
Billy is a hitman, who will only take the job if it's for a truly evil person. But after years of being a sniper in the military, followed by hit-man duties, he's ready to get out of the business. But first, he takes one last job for a big payday, even if it is against his better judgment. Billy is very personable. Regardless of his profession, I couldn't help but like him. During this last job, you'll walk with him during the friendships he forms, even though he knows he shouldn't. You'll learn he's a hero in disguise, even though a reluctant one— it comes naturally. You'll get a look at how he handles other bad guys who are not on his hit list. All and all, you'll get to know Billy and see that he really is a good guy with a soft heart, all be it, a bit rough around the edges. When the last job doesn't go quite as planned, Billy sets out to make it right. One will never see him coming, he's a master of disguise, and a pro when it comes to hiding in plain sight. As he's in hiding, waiting for the right time to take care of the business that didn't go as planned, he's thrown a huge curve ball that doesn't disappoint. I listened to the audiobook. The narrator is Paul Sparks. He's so talented and a master storyteller, who's sure to keep you hanging on every word! I truly enjoyed this book and believe that after Stephen King went through a lull in his writing, he came back stronger than ever.
