I especially liked... | ||
that I was totally intrigued by this story, sucked in from the beginning, and was not disappointed with how the story unfolded. I really liked the main characters, especially the loving mother, Margot. She was such a strong influence in the girls' lives. I sympathized with Jessica, who was tormented by her own demons, and was trying to juggle her friendship with this family and her commitment to her job.
I didn't like... | ||
the scuzzy characters whose dirty secrets intertwined with the main characters. But they are a vital part in the story (as the villains), so I guess I loved to hate them.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
read more by Claire Douglas.
This Book made me feel...
sad for the Powell family, empathetic towards Jessica, frustrated with the police department and angry with all the creeps who had terrible secrets of their own.
The n/a of this Book... | ||

I recommend this Book because...
Action packed, danger filled, plot twisting, suspenseful pages kept me at the edge of my seat, turning pages feverishly till I reached the end. I will definitely read more from Claire Douglas.
