Her Autism provides a unique and different point of view that shows insights about how animals think and react to their environment and what humans can do to enrich their lives. How to make life for animals more natural with less trauma, and adverse living circumstances while enriching the animal human experience. The reader will learn different ways animals benefit from understanding and proper handling, enrichment, and environment situations that people can do for the benefit of the animals and people.

I especially liked... | ||
I liked all of this book. It helped me understand at the small details and big ones about the world from the animals point of view and how to interact with the animals, give them what helped them to thrive, and understand that there subtle communications that people might miss or misunderstand.
I didn't like... | ||
I didn't enjoy reading about the cruelties which animals endured be they on purpose or by accident. I did learn what to do to make positive changes for the benefit of the animals.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to do what I could to make life for my animal family as good as possible. Finding more information about how animals live and communicate is something I will find in Temple Grandins other books.
This Book made me feel...
I felt reassured that I was on the right track and could improve what I was doing for my animal family. I hope animals are better treated by humans and they are given better living situations, understanding, and humans learn from them rather than exploit them and take advantage of them. They can teach us a lot about life and how to cherish it.
The n/a of this Book... | ||
This book shows animals and humans can live harmoniously. Animals should be respected and treated as we would like to be treated. Their lives are as important as ours and they need us to understand them and care for them.
I recommend this Book because...
This book will give the reader insight into animals in a way that most people are unaware of. It also shows how we can give animals the best life possible and learn from them.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Some readers might be very unsteady because of the details about some practices in the meat industry and other commercial or private actions. I would suggest a box of tissue be handy and with caution some readers would be able to learn things about animals that may not be available from other sources.
Further Comments... | ||
I love animals of all kinds. I'm blessed because I have many acres. I also am close to nature. Anyone who loves animals, wants to know more about them, and intends to acquire an animal or several should read this book. I know more about how to make life for animals much better and how to work with them in a safe and clam manner. I understand what is needed for the animal and human relationship to prosper and be enriching for both animal and human.
