Summary of this Book...
This is the story of Miranda Hart, in her own words. Except, it's not the whole story. Also, it's not told in story form. Instead, it is more like a stand up routine, featuring grown-up Miranda and little Miranda (I forget how old, but I'm thinking fourteen or sixteen). I adore Miranda. I've watched her three TV series many, many times. Reading this book was like watching another, brand-new show of hers. While reading this, it occurred to me how the Miranda in the TV sitcom really is Miranda Hart in real life. I mean, I suspected she was pretty similar, but listening to her experiences in this book, I realised just how insecure and silly and fun she really is. Also, clumsy and embarrassed by herself. Qualities that make her so very endearing. And, honestly, I could relate to so much of what she says. A lot of the time, I was chuckling along with herm thinking that has totally been me in the past.

Miranda. Simply, Miranda. She is so funny. I've always felt a kind of kinship with her and the scrapes she gets into in her sitcom. But this book makes me realise how like her I really am.

Little Miranda. I know she was supposed to be annoying, but she bugged the heck out of me. I wasn't completely sold on her usefulness.
