Summary of this Book...
This book grabs the reader from the first. The opening has a mood of tension and includes the series villain, Mira. The drama increases as a university campus is bombed and we meet a key character who is immortal and can inherit the memories of other people by touching them. This character has many identities, starting in pre-history as Pa’am and spending the time when the story opens as Olivia. She is subject to a tense detective investigation as she acted oddly during the time of the explosion. My favourite parts were the way the current story was interspersed with Olivia’s memories of her life throughout history. These passages were vividly written and made me feel like I was travelling in time. Episodes included the Vikings, Native Americans, Aztecs, Christopher Columbus, The Mayflower, WW1 and the 1920s. She even has a portrait made by Leonardo Da Vinici which she needs to destroy in case anyone recognised her and guesses she is immortal!

People who want an action-filled read they can't put down. Anyone who enjoys sci-fi or historical adventures would love this.
I especially liked... | ||
The way the story immerses the reader. Pamela Ruth Foland obviously put a lot of thought into this and the historical details were accurate and interesting.
