Summary of this Book...
This is the 11th and newest installment in Sharon Sala's beloved "Blessings, Georgia" series. It features the love story of Ava and Hunt and a big mystery about which of Hunt's family members stole all of his college money on the day he was to start his studies... and why. There are also some side stories and mysteries and some of the beloved characters from previous novels make appearances.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like stories set in a town with mostly kindhearted people (plus a few rascals and criminals for conflict), people who like romance, drama, family dynamics, mystery, and/or suspense.
I especially liked... | ||
Ava and Hunt's characters, the nice way Sala brought in the old characters (which would be appreciated especially by people who'd read all the previous books but was done in a way that new readers wouldn't feel lost), the general kindness and spirit of Blessings, Georgia. Ava's parents, Birdie, and most of returning characters.
I didn't like... | ||
That the romance kind of wrapped up halfway to two-thirds through the book... it felt like she ran out of novel and then added some short stories that worked ... it was fine and I enjoyed every page. But it didn't feel like a whole novel.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next installment! Sala hinted at two potential couples. I wonder if they'll both be featured in the next book and, if not, which one will be selected.
This Book made me feel...
All the feels. Generally good. I love a happy ending.
