Summary of this Book...
A strange little tale of mystery and magic, with a puzzle to solve: mainly, who is Piranesi ( he knows thats not his real name but can't remember what it is) , and how did he end up at The House? The story takes place in The House, a labryinthian place full of hallways, statures, birds and even the sea. Piranesi lives there by himself, keeping busy by writing in his journals or exploring the endless rooms of the house. There is another person there, he calls The Other. He meets with the other twice a week. The story picks uo when The Other warns Piranesi about a third person who may be in the house. Piranesi may seem simple, yet, he figures out he needs to know more about The Other, and more about the intruder for himself. Is the intruder really dangerous? Or does The Other have something to hide? Get past the first ten pages or so, and be delighted by the tight prose and beautiful world building of this jewel of a tale.
