This is the latest installment in Sharon Sala's highly engaging "Blessings, Georgia" series. The town stole my heart with the first book and Sala's characters always come alive on the pages for me. This book wasn't as suspenseful as some but it was as sweet and heartwarming and I enjoyed it greatly.

While the book focused on the relationship between Sully and Melissa, there was also a budding romance for favorite old character Lovey and updates on many of the characters from previous novels in the series. And it was done smoothly and worked with the story and added to it (rather than just being a big block of updates that pulled a reader out of the story, which some authors do).

People who want to read about compelling characters, heartwarming romance, drama and/or small town charm.

Elliot's gift to Sully and the way his prediction came true. All of the positive characters.

I personally like a little more suspense but I'm still going to preorder the next book in the series so it's obviously not a big deal.

Move to Blessings, Georgia. Not that it's a real place.

All the feels! Really, I laughed, cried, chuckled, held my breath here and there and really enjoyed the book.

Is one of my favorite authors and has many New York Times bestselling titles published.

It was a lovely read with a happy ending in a charming town filled with characters of all kinds.

I preordered this book (this is the only fiction author for whom I do this too). When it arrived it felt like a super treat and great way to start the New Year. It was the first book I read in 2020.
