This is a heartwarming and slightly funny, sweet Christian romance. It's the first in a new series by Mary Connealy. The series features three sisters who were raised away from civilization on Hope Mountain. This book's main focus was on Josephine (Jo) and Dave but all of the characters have been introduced and all but the eldest sister are highly likeable. I suspect the eldest will be more likeable when it's her turn for romance.

Back to this book... it wasn't quite as funny or believable as Mary's books tend to be, but she's still the best writer I know of in her genre of Christian historical romantic comedy (quite a specific niche!). I loved Jo and liked Dave and am looking forward to the next book to see how Dave's family solves the problem of having their ranch stolen and how Ilsa and Mitch turn their animosity into love.

People who want a relatively easy read that uplifts the soul.

Jo's sense of adventure and curiosity. All the heartfelt dedication to honoring the Lord God.

Read the next one. But it hasn't been published yet.

Has written quite a few great Christian romances, including the Kincaid Brothers series, High Sierra Sweethearts series, Trouble in Texas series, Wild at Heart series, and more.

It's a good story with some smiles and a bit of romance.

It's not for people who would be offended by Christianity or misunderstandings about the Bible (which she used for humor).
