Summary of this Book...
In this book, we get the background of another member of the Naturals team (a group of teens in a special FBI program). This time, we go to Las Vegas and get to know my favorite character: Sloane, the socially awkward mathematical genius who never forgets a detail. It also introduces the background story that will tie all of the books together.
This type of Book is good for...
Same as before... if crime mystery, serial killer, superhero type books are your thing, this is great.
I especially liked... | ||
Just the fact that the book was about Sloane. She's by far the best character of the bunch.
I didn't like... | ||
Because this book introduces a great deal of information that will be played out through the next books... it had lots of boring parts that felt like info dumps. They were piecing together the current crimes (which were cool), previous crimes (which we already knew about from previous books), the murder of the MC's mother years ago (which we knew about already), and background on Sloane. It was a few things too many to be fun. Especially since much of the information seemed repetitive.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Quit the series... but I had the next book sitting there waiting for me, so I read it (and was happy that I did).
