Summary of this DVD... | ||
Guardians of the Galaxy is a Marvel Production, featuring characters brand new to the Marvel cinematic universe, although featured in comics plenty before. The story is of Peter Quill, Rocket, Groot, Drax and Gamora. They're a mixed group of interesting characters, who fight to protect everyone from a crazy Ronan, trying to use the Infinity Stone.
This type of DVD is good for...
Light entertainment. There's plenty for comic book fans, but it's also simple for anyone to follow, comic book fan or not. There's some fun easter eggs in there, especially at the end, with Howard the Duck and of course, Stan Lee, and his famous cameos.
I especially liked... | ||
The humour. I'm not a massive fan of comedy films in general, but I like films who drop bits of comedy in there, but it isn't the main part of the story.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Watch the next one. As I've rewatched this one quite a few times, and love the second one too!
The cast of this DVD... | ||
Love them. Even the voices for Groot and Rocket were brilliant. Good ol' Vin Diesel and the awesome Bradley Cooper. How could you not love that cast? Let alone the fact I haven't mentioned Chris Pratt. Do you know how many Chris' Marvel have? Far too many.
