Summary of this Book...
The second book in the Sign of Seven Trilogy. Layla had been accidentally pushed into the new circle of friends with Quinn, Cal, and Fox. She had no idea what she was doing in a small town called Hawkins Hollow, but when she saw a nasty slob slither across the dining room floor of the hotel she stayed at and that no one else saw it but a recently arrived Quinn, she questioned her sanity. Getting into a car with Quinn and going to a stranger's house to discuss what had happened, she didn't have a single fear of them. As it turned out, destiny played a hand in it. Fate had brought her to the small town to discover that evil roamed the streets every seven years, for seven days. Since Quinn had Cal, naturally, she and Fox hit it off, but not as fast as the first couple did. To follow the already set scene by Cal and Quinn, Fox and Layla had their slight issues when it came to commitment, but the circumstances brought them together, whether or not they were willing participants.

If you enjoy romance with a good doze of the supernatural, grab this one - or, well, grab the first of it's trilogy!
The author of this Book...
Nora Roberts did a good job with this book as well. At the moment, I'm waiting to dig through my other treasures I have by her.
Further Comments... | ||
A bit different than the previous book - which is a good thing! Not every relationship works the same, and neither does it here. Unlike Cal and Quinn from the previous book, Layla and Fox and a bit of trust issues. She wasn't sure, he was all in. It took them a bit to find a middle ground but once they did, nothing could come between them, not even ancient evil.
