Summary of this Book...
Yam struggles with making Donkey understand the proper way to talk. "I yam a donkey" and "You is a donkey too?" are two examples of Donkey's incorrect way of speaking. They go round and round, but Donkey just doesn't get it and ends up eating the yam and the other vegetables at the end.

Pre-School - 3rd Grade
I especially liked...
A good book to open up a discussion on simple grammar. I also liked the byline on the book cover that read: "story, pictures, and bad grammar by CECE BELL."
I didn't like...
I found it a little annoying after a few pages of the bantering between Donkey and Yam.
