Summary of this Book...
Templeton's family would not leave him alone. Baths, messes, sharing toys with his little brother... He wished his family would all go away. After ordering a magic diamond and making his wish, his family DOES go away. No baths, no cleaning up messes, and no sharing with his little brother. But after awhile... Templeton gets lonely and scared. So he wishes them all back. And his wish comes true.

The illustrations highlight the simple text.

Not very original.
This Book made me feel...
Like I'd read this story line many times before, but it was still cute and worth reading to small children.
The author of this Book...
Greg Pizzoli not only writes, but illustrates his books. He also wrote "The Watermelon Seed" which received the Theodor Suess Geisel Award.
I recommend this Book because...
It could be used for discussion with children who don't like baths, cleaning up messes, or sharing.
