I loved the rhythm, the flow, the nonsense words, creative language, story-line, and the outcome! This is a fun, fun, fun book to read!

Lisa Wheeler draws from past experiences, which inspires her books. She not only swallowed gum as a child, but had gum stuck in her hair and gum up her nose (she prefers we don't ask her about that one, lol,) and when she grew up and her niece threw gum out the car window and onto the road, she began to think about what just might happen if...

Laura Huliska-Beith is the illustrator, and claims to be an experienced gum chewer, guaranteeing to have chewed at least twenty packs of gum during the making of this book.

I can't say enough good things about this book. Lisa Wheeler should be right up there with Dr. Seuss, Jack Prelutsky, and Shel Silverstein (all favorites of mine!)

I highly recommend this book!
