Did you know a spider can eat up to 75 lbs. of bugs in one year? Written in first person, the narrator tries hard to convince him/herself that spiders are cool. Each page will either interest you with amazing facts, or make you laugh out loud with his/her aversion to these arachnids. It's well worth the read!

Bethany Barton is also the illustrator of this fascinating book. She actually got the idea while writing another book, when a spider crawled upon her artwork and she did not dare squash it... so she tried to love it instead, though it wasn't easy (RIP, spider!)
