I am glad that I did not live in that time period...the uncertainty, the intrigue, the constantly changing moods of the king made it a scary time to be alive.

It portrays the political unrest and intrigue of Henry the VIII's court. The costuming and scenery are beautiful. Not for Children as there is nudity throughout the series.
