Summary of this Book...
Samantha Elliot has lost it all, the family who loved her, a cheating husband, and when her father died, she had no one else left in the world to call family. At the request of her father, she reluctantly moved to New York, to find the one relative, her grandmother, who might still be alive and would reveal the secrets of why she left her family years ago, without a trace. Michael Taggert forgot about his new tenant who was supposed to be moving in with him for a year, but when a kiss of passion entwined them into the mystery of what is Samantha's life, Mike doesn't pull back, but goes for her like a lion stalking his prey. As Samantha keep her distance from him, she finds herself liking him, as they uncover the truth of Blues singer named Maxie and a bloody night in 1928 which changed everything.

Love at first sight! Which ever way you look. Michael Taggert is a dream of a man who is patient, kind and loyal, and is willing to protect the girl with his own life.
Further Comments... | ||
I have fallen in love with this book a long time ago and I remembered the first chapter in vivid colors. As I read it now, I realized that I've forgotten most of it and while the beginning of the book might seem a bit slow at first, it's definitely worth the read.
