Summary of this Book...
Rain kills. It's as simple as that. There was an asteroid headed to Earth, we blew it up, but the asteroid contained a deadly bacterium that was floating around in the atmosphere. Now it's in the rain, and if you get so much as one drop on you, you die.
This type of Book is good for...
I don't really know. Normally, I'd say entertainment, but I found this book thoroughly boring and predictable.
I especially liked... | ||
Not much, to be honest. The font on the cover of the book is pretty cool.
I didn't like... | ||
Almost everything. Particularly every swear being replaced by a butterfly. A picture of a damn butterly.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Take it back to the library, put it back on the shelf and wish I'd never taken it out in the first place.
This Book made me feel...
Annoyed. Despite the book being about death and people clawing themselves to death, it was decidedly child-like. Whilst this is a YA book, it seemed too simplistic and childish. Maybe it's just me.
Further Comments... | ||
I will say one thing. I was outside when I was reading this, and it started raining. I did get a little freaked out for one second. The setting gets a five because it was actually well-described and it was very near where I live!
