Well, pronouncing his name isn't easy but telling you about this amazing young man is.

Nick was born without arms or legs.

Take a moment and let that sink in -- no arms, no legs.

Sounds like a devastatingly helpless situation, doesn't it?

It has been a challenge. As a young man, Nick contemplated suicide but no more. By the grace of God, Nick has grown into a vibrant, dynamic motivational speaker.

I recommend this book because this young man is amazing. I can not listen to him, without seriously examining myself, without taking a good look at my lack of gratitude or my negative attitudes or my "why-me" complaints. I have not read all the devotions in this book, at this time I only have a sample, but I already know it is worth reading.

Why would I recommend something if I have not read the whole thing? Because Nick (whose last name I can't pronounce) is amazing. I have seen him talk on TV and I would love to see him in person. His vibrancy in life truly makes me look in the mirror and be ashamed of the times I complain.

It is one thing when somebody that has it all together (rich, healthy, beautiful) tries to give you a pep talk. It's another thing when a fella with no arms and no legs tells you life is worth it no matter what. He has credibility beyond beyond the norm.

There is value in reading the devotion in this book. Devotions written by a man who has experienced hardships in life that most of us can't even imagine. He lives in a world set up for people that have arms and legs Often he has encountered situations where he has to figure out how to do things we take for granted. With God's help he has overcome so many obstacles. Let his words inspire you to do the same.
