Summary of this Book...
The Original Sudoku Book 2 This book is special to me because it was a gift from my dad. Daddy died July 29, 2011. Daddy and I had got closer during the last years of his life. As we were connecting more with each other, we didn't know they were the last years. His health was relatively good. In fact, a week before he did die, his doctor have him a clean bill of health and told him he would love to be 100. His doctor was wrong. I am fortunate that I made a decision in those last years to call Daddy on a regular basis just to talk. When he did die, I had few regrets. I had talked to him. I had listened to him. I had shared things with him and he had shared things with me. Some big things AND some little things. One of the little things was Sudoku. Neither of us knew how to pronounce that word. I don't think Daddy was as interested as I was in working those puzzles but as soon as he learned of my interest he began clipping them out of his local paper for me every day. He'd save them and then send an envelope full of them to me by snail mail. I still have some I have not done yet. LOL Then one day a small package came in the post. It was a book. This book: The Original Sudoku Book 2 Inside the front cover was the final bunch of puzzles he would clip for me from the paper. The book was intended to give me lots of puzzles all at once. It did. It also have me something else, something I found even MORE fun! It contain directions to make your own Sudoku puzzles! Oh my, that WAS even more fun than working on the puzzles created by others! I still know how to make them. I still have the book. The pages are clean - I never completed the puzzles by writing in the book, I copied them onto a piece of paper and then solved them. After I started making my own, I made a form on my computer so it was easy to copy the numbers into the puzzles form and also easy for me to create my own. So, as I said, I still can make my own Sudoku puzzles, I still have the book and I still have the memory of my dad's love. How's that for a review?
