Summary of this DVD...
I love this show, but this is not my favorite season. Not by a long shot. Doc and Louisa are married and over time, Doc is not happy. It takes his Aunt Ruth to figure out why. Morwena's grandfather has died and she tries renting a room to Al. Bert has a woman renting from him who is taking over for Mrs. Tischel while she recuperates from her meltdown.

At the end of the season, it is not clear if Louisa and Doc Martin will stay together. Claire Bloom returns as his horrific mother, but Aunt Ruth gives her what she deserves.
I especially liked...
Eileen Atkins as Aunt Ruth. She is the only character with any sense besides Doc Martin.
I recommend this DVD because...
it is the show in its entirety that I do recommend. I love Doc Martin. He is one of a kind.
