Summary of this Book...
David Wilkerson was a country preacher whose life changed dramatically after he saw a picture in a magazine and felt an urging to go to New York to minister to a group of boys on trial for murder. He never reached those boys, but his journey led him to many others. Wilkerson carried the gospel into the heart of the drug world of New York.
I especially liked... | ||
Wilkerson's faith is strong
I didn't like... | ||
...but I was frustrated that he didn't use his own initiative. God gave us arms and legs for a reason. Instead of praying for everything, perhaps he could have worked for it? I had high expectations of this book, but was disappointed simply because it was overrated.
