Summary of this Book...
This is Sue Grafton's latest in the Kinsey Millhone alphabet series of books. Kinsey knows two men who turn up dead. Their deaths change her life and one of the men turns out to be related to her in a way that she never imagined. This book was a real page-turner from start to finish. It is one of Sue Grafton's finest efforts and that is saying something.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who enjoys reading a great mystery. These books always make for funny, suspenseful and entertaining reading. They are set in the 1980's before computers and cell phones invaded the genre.
I especially liked... | ||
Kinsey and her observations. I always have. I also enjoy the fact that Ms. Grafton, unlike most authors, knows how to end her books in a way that leaves the reader feeling satisfied. That is very rare these days.
The author of this Book...
is a tremendous storyteller. I like her humor and her character's first person observations, especially about family members and how nasty they can be to each other. Ms. Grafton blows the whole notion of family out of the water.
