Arthur, King of the Britons continuously strides from one predicament into another. He cris-crosses the English countryside with a heroic theme and the cantor of coconuts. He is joined by an assortment of knights: "Brave" Sir Robin, impetuous, berserk Launcelot, other knights and men of science, and the priestly entourage that attends the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. If you've never seen the movie nor heard a person make a popular reference to this movie, then you need a new set of friends.

Occasionally setting your coffee mug on (and sniggering at your spouse when he pours your coffee into a tea cup, but you don't care...if you are using THIS DVD for a coaster you are American, and you are doing it wrong!)

First of all...look at that price. I could buy a set of coasters at Target and expect to pay double! Everyone needs to own this DVD. Just reading the packaging makes you accidentally snort milk out your nose. My jaw dropped when I saw the ridiculously low price on this Special Edition DVD, and I made plans to but it for my husband's birthday.

The middle of the movie -- or at least, if I was director or editor, then I would have done some things differently; (but if that was true then, I'd also be really old now) Python antics do sometimes run into the ground.

Verify that the setting for Hard-of Hearing was indeed a Python member shouting the description.

All the wiser for owning it for myself on DVD. Now I'm old enough to "get" more of the lines, plus I have subtitles to read.

Are actually better looking lads than I remember...or maybe it's the uniforms.

As much a rite of passage as seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show in the Midnight theatre. (And you will pay more for that.)

Some person (probably French) reviewing this DVD on Amazon stated: "My only issue with the DVD is while the movie itself has English subtitles, the bonus features only have subtitles in Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese."

BWAHAHAHA !? ONLY? That person doesn't get it.
