I enjoyed the Celtic lore and legend that Nora Roberts wove into the story line and the ultimate battle between good and evil that is the basis of the story

The book is fairly predictable and follows Roberts' pattern of introducing a handful of characters then introducing the same amount of characters of the opposite sex then having them eventually fall in love with each other

I was intrigued enough to want to continue the series
