Summary of this DVD... | ||
This movie is based on the best selling book about Jackson Mississippi in the early 1960's when Civil Rights was a movement taking hold. It involves a young writer who enlists black maids in her area to write a book about the people they work for. The irony is that the black maids raise the white babies who eventually become their bosses. It is sort of a unique situation and it is funny, sad and heartwarming. | ||
