This is a book in the Inspector Lynley series. However Inspector Lynley is only referred to for about a page or so. It is about his forensic friends, St. James and Deborah and how they solve a murder involving Deborah's friends from America.

Some of Ms. George's books are great and some are hard to get through. Some of them I just couldn't finish and some I read eagerly. I read this one eagerly even though I was somewhat disappointed at the end.

anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a lot of red herring suspects.

the fact that Havers and Lynley were not present. I missed them, especially Havers.

read the next in the series.

like I didn't quite get the behavior of the victim. He wasn't sympathetic.

deals a lot with relationships between siblings. This book is full of problemmatic relationships where the men have most of the control over their sisters.

it was good reading. I don't think you have to have read any of the Lynley mysteries to enjoy this one.
