Summary of this Book...
In a world where war is ever-present on the Plains, indeed is a way of life, a broad cast of characters; from a new slave struggling to survive and gain freedom to a self-shamed assassin doing penance as a pawn, live their lives in a seemingly unconnected manner (for the most part) while really, complex plot threads weave together in a stunning display of literary talent.
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who loves a great fantasy book with a broad/complex plot and character cast, and with a vividly detailed world. Great for first-time fantasy readers- a good introduction to the wondrous worlds that await discovery.
I especially liked... | ||
The book is fresh, massive, is mostly non-clichéd. There is a wondrous world detailed in the pages, with strange creatures, unique magic, and other wonders to be found. Brandon writes with straight-to-the-point storytelling.

When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Fast-forward to the future when all ten proposed volumes have been released- then lock myself away to read them all.

The author of this Book...
Is Brandon Sanderson, well known for completing "The Wheel Of Time" series by Robert Jordan. I hope Sanderson is not most remembered for that, as his books far exceed Jordan's. This book is far less clichéd, has more intriguing characters, a more complex plot, a more vivid world, and the list could go on.
I recommend this Book because...
It is one of the greatest fantasy books ever written. A new epic in the making, is how I would describe "The Stormlight Archive".
