Summary of this Book...
Abby Abernathy tries to start a new life when she goes to college, far removed from her father and his past. She meets Travis Maddoxx, the University fight club star and stud. She determines not to get involved with him, but he is determined that she will be his. The conflict between the two and the build up - first 2/3 of the book are good. Once they are "together" it gets a little dull as they confront her past with all its pitfalls. They end up breaking up and making up more than once.
I especially liked... | ||
the first part before they hook up. I guess I like the chase and the build up and how they end up together. Once they were together it got kind of predictable.
The author of this Book...
knows how to present characters that are interesting. I was especially interested in Abby and how she developed. Once I knew everything there was to know about Abby, the book lost my interest. It is a much better read than Fifty Shades of Grey though, in my opinion.
Further Comments... | ||
Maybe someone younger than me would like this book more. It was good for about 2/3 of the book and then it got predictable. I was let down and disappointed with the ending of the book.
