Summary of this Book...
This is the story of a couple who on the surface seem to have everything. Under the surface is a different story. When the wife goes missing, the husband becomes the subject of intense media and law enforcement scrutiny. This story takes a lot of twists and turns. I would call it a psychological thriller. Amy and Nick are the perfect couple on the surface. It is their fifth wedding anniversary and Amy is gone. But there are plenty of clues. Which ones are real and is anything real?
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who likes a psychological thriller that is disturbing.
I didn't like... | ||
any of the characters. None of them were likeable.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read something completely different.
This Book made me feel...
horrified at times. | ||
The author of this Book...
knows how to tell a story with characters who are not likeable. It was almost as if I had nothing to hold on to and no one to root for. Strange feeling, but it works.
I recommend this Book because...
it drew me in and held my interest to the end. There are a lot of surprises so I won't give it away.
Further Comments... | ||
This is the #1 fiction bestseller right now. I do not want to give the plot away in my review. I read it in a couple of days, which is fast for me. I cannot say I enjoyed it, but it held my interest.
