some of the run-on sentences. I found them a bit jarring and irritating.

trade it in - it isn't a book I would keep and revisit.

like I'd read an average book by a good storyteller.

I know Nicholas Sparks is capable of better than this because I've seen it. I was wondering if this one was rushed out for some reason. I didn't like the way he wrapped up "jo" at the end. Some of the explanations didn't make sense to me, given what happened. He should have taken more time to explain.

it's a pretty entertaining read and there's lots of drama and suspense right at the end. I think it is about average really and better than most romances. Still, he is capable of more than this and I wonder why I'm not seeing steady improvement in his storytelling.

I like that with Nicholas Sparks I actually come to care about his main characters. I don't think he did his best work here, but it is a pretty good read. I read it in about 3 days.
