Summary of this Book...
This is a political thriller about an ambivalent rich guy who gets pulled into intrigue because of his love for a woman.
I especially liked... | ||
the start of the book that drew me in.
I didn't like... | ||
the way the book jumps around and I found it disjointed and confusing. There is too much intro and epilogue for me.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
trade it in. | ||
This Book made me feel...
like it had potential, but it ended up being a lecture which is kind of my problem with Glen Beck anyway.
The author of this Book...
has potential to tell a good story. He should develop his characters more.
Further Comments... | ||
I am not someone who typically enjoys political intrigue and that is what this is. So, it is probably not fair of me to recommend or not recommend. Not liking political intrigue probably kept me from being interested in all that was happening all the time and I felt like I needed to pay attention better, but somehow didn't have the interest or the energy. I got this book in trade and I will probably trade it back in.
